Activity Report 2007 of the Foundation Taigüey

For the Foundation Taigüey 2007 has been very busy, and advances, including the realization of the activities under the strategy of supporting community development in the community of La Cienega (Barahona province) raised in 2004-2005 . With the opening of community telecentre Guanaba.net (February 2007), the project start shaping the agro-processing cooperative company of women (Transagro - April 2007), the approval and start community ecotourism project (June 2007) and further development activities such as Geographic Information System to support community participation in municipal planning (Junio-Sep. 07) we can say that it became fully in the implementation of the axis of community work. And he established collaborative partnerships with government institutions and development organizations.
The other axis of the Foundation activities, knowledge networks and exchange, the activities remained minimal (Bohio, Civic) and preparing the relaunch of the main projects CarISnet and Act! Ivate.
