Arianny participates in the Community Wireless Networks Weaving Workshop for Latin America and the Caribbean - TRICALCAR

Our infomediaries Arianny Terrero received a scholarship with which he participated in the Community Wireless Networks Weaving Workshop for Latin America and the Caribbean - TRICALCAR - held in the town of Tlayacapan, Morelos, Mexico, from 7 to 13 April this year.
TRICALCAR is a project of capacity building and applied research on community wireless networks for Latin America and the Caribbean, through which it is intended that the application of these skills will serve to extend connectivity to rural and marginal urban areas that have not been further leverage the benefits of ICT.
Arianny that we worked hard alongside fellow / as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and Puerto Rico. In the workshop were given different topic such as security, IP VOS, Antenna Development, Sustainability, Women and ICT, Outcome Mapping, long-distance link, among others. The workshop in Mexico had LaNeta as host organization. The training team consisted of Ermanno and Javier Trevino Petrosemoli EsLaRed in Venezuela, Adolfo LaNeta Dunayevich of Mexico, Javier Pacheco SCREAMS in Colombia, Lilian Chamorro Colnodo also in Colombia, Liang Tan from IICD in The Netherlands and Eduardo Rodriguez and Santiago Node Coast TAU. The organization had the support of Luis Fernando Ayala, Olinca Marino and Erika Smith, all members of the host LaNeta.
