This Sunday, September 22, 2007, as the climax of the "putting the swamp on the map" was held with the facilitation of Mr. Domingo Matias, an expert in municipal issues, the workshop "Participatory Municipal Planning and the use of Maps" with the objective awareness of / participants in the municipal planning concepts and processes for their operation and applications of GIS planning tool. Geologist facilitation department Raul Ponce mapping National Bureau of Statistics was carried out on data processing workshop with the aim of the / as sovereign participants acquire basic knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) and the Process Generation and Updating of Maps with ArcView software and the basic operation. Community census was conducted within the framework of Project Putting Swamp on the map to gather information to georeference. Putting the Census Swamp Map was made by people in the community on 7, 8 and 9 August, they visited every household in the town of La Ciénaga and FUDECO wearing shirts with the campaign of the Anti- Corruption. In order to lift with GPS of all housing, location and references in order to make it easier for families next census to be implemented. It concluded with the geroreferenciacion housing. The workshop, intended for / as candidates / as to enumerators, which aimed / participants manage the implementation of the census questionnaire. The same was discussed questions in the census form and was made a census test in which participants took to administer the questionnaire. On Sunday June 24, about 15 volunteers to raise the data will be in the Geographic Information System of the community, participated in a workshop on use of GPS. A workshop was conducted with 25 people in the community to identify the subject areas geo referenced. This was identified about 10 indicators-areas and prioritized areas.

It also reports on the different modalities for the lifting of the information.
